I’m Josama—artist, scenic painter, and visual storyteller. This portfolio offers a glimpse into the range of my creative work across film, television, and public spaces.
I’ve worked as a scenic painter on “The Equalizer” (Seasons 3, 4, and 5), “Ziwe” (Seasons 1, 2, and 3), as well as “The Perfect Find,” “Roommates,” and “Samo Lives,” helping to build immersive visual worlds through texture, color, and mood. Beyond the screen, my hands have shaped everything from intimate portraiture to large-scale murals, faux masonry, and sculptural elements that blend form and illusion.
My mural work has been commissioned by Brooklyn High School for Law and Technology and by Dominique Wilkins, reflecting a commitment to storytelling rooted in community and craft.With a multidisciplinary approach and a passion for bringing spaces to life, I strive to create work that transforms environments and sparks connection.
